He has elevated this problem to a higher level and I will get a call back in 48-72 hrs.

He tried in Normal Safe and Administrator modes, but with no success. He even fumbled around in Norton 360 to see if that was stopping the Editor (if so, it must access the internet whenever it is opened). Last week their technician einstalled the program before I went to the Community and there were several copies of the main program on the C drive, which didn't help and the current Technician has removed. After some 5 hours with the Technician fumbling around in my PC's entrails and some deliberate total deletion of PSE 20 we are no further on. However, I had to go to Adobe on-line Chat because the Editor wouldn't function either thro' Organiser or in isolation. Once again with Adobe PSE upgrades, I'm totally confused. I am happy to uninstall PSE 2023 if necessary, but don't want to lose my, working, PSE 2020 and all its catalog, images and keywords. I also then get the Microsoft Runtime Library C++ error notification (which I can't copy and attach to this discussion. But if I highlight a thumbnail then click the Editor, nothing happens - Editor doesn't open the file. Clicking on a thumbnail and the 'Info' shows all my metadata, etc. However, none of my tags appear on the right hand side of the Organiser screen only the default (and empty) PSE 2023 ones.ģ. I was then offered to import my images from my Data drive and then to import all of the Keyword and Smart tags. That new catalog was stored in the default location in App Data.

However, I found, converted (to PSE 2023), my catalog for the old PSE 2020. That is still not sorted and I contiunue to get the error, this sometimes causes PSE Organiser to close down, but not the Editor.Ģ.

After some support from Adobe due to the upgrade failing to download, I then received some MS C++ Runtime Library errors. Fortunately I still have PSE 2020 working and can use that for the moment.ġ. I am still having major problems with PSE 2023 upgrade installation and setup.
